IF I RULE MY WORLD
Reverse poem (read from top to the bottom and from bottom back to the top. It's a two opposite meaning poem)
If I rule my world
I would want it to be autocrat
I will never say that
It would be free and fair - total democracy
I will not disguise or wear a garment of hypocrisy
Like those that tormented me rubbed my head
Unparalleled with the words I heard
Word of power, authority and oppression that once ruled my world
So I no longer focus on
Ruling with love as the creation of love
How will I avenge when love is placed above?
Succumbing people in my world and cast their hood
The flood will sweep away good
Even when I promise to avenge how I was poured
How sand shifts beneath the poor
How we were lonely, starved and oppressed
How sun beats down and trees depressed
Made us cracked and broken - hopeless
Children stagger. Orphans raging the streets - homeless
Thirst to suck dangling breasts on bony chests
It's been many moons they've last eaten, yet rulers jest
How death surrounds us, hunger and sickness as arrows piercing us
I will tell a half of my retro story; how we were ridden like a horse
For people to see why I'm lessen
To be cruel and rule without mercy
My kingdom will be fearful. It stinks
Mine will be unmatched, do not think
I will make room for entertainment so no one will be bored
That'd paint the world blue, games of odd
Sorts of tribe, religion, school, and football clubs
I would put a hold on this and enjoy hubs
No marriage that'll lead to domestic violence
I'd have certain rules against all forms of immoralities, hence
Any will bending mine on top
I'll sacrifice a dove to stop
The ocean from clapping and birds swinging to the top
I wish I could because I will not stop
Imagining the world I will create
I know it can't happen, so I only sit
Singing... Oh! if I rule my world
Reverse poem (read from bottom to the top)
