Origin

ORIGIN
From the central west when measure,
Clouds come hurrying with the wind, unlimited pleasure
Land blessed with honey and serenity
State of Harmony, bound without calamity.

Cities, thrones, territories and power
Stand, let's unfold our wonders
Esie museum, Owu waterfall, Agbonna hill at the thorp end,
See marble, feldspars, limestone, clay, digging gold with my friend.

I sense the people of my kind,
I sense the mud and am bind,
Link, convergence of me and my origin,
Home, as in no other city, it's called origin.

Clutching and close to fumbling all we had - history,
Oh you forgot! Where is your tribal memory?
Blinding flashes rumble, tremble and crack of civilization,
Remember! Not enough to sweep off our foundation.

But posterity will demand to see, what little illumination
We brought to the scene from the candle-light, a nation
The God smiled and bid us, the sign appears
The rain came, sprinkling with sufficient drops, save peers.

Hear, craggy ocean pyramid, give answer from your voice
This is my source, do not look back, it is voids
With great ecstasy, I fill the pace
We have origin, lineage, trace mine to Share.
